Pastel Revolution: Pastel Freezer

Pastel freezer brings a whole new freedom to working with pastel, charcoal, graphite and chalks. It is a liquid spray solution that freezes friable pigments, allowing the paintings to be displayed without glass or the need for acrylic protection. The pigment is frozen, without altering or saturating the surface but remains porous to receive other layers, which a normal fixative does not allow.

Pastel Freeze gesso is an absorbent ground for soft pastels and ideal for drawing with pastels or charcoal on canvas. Almost transparent when dry, it offers an eye-catching surface that reveals the grain of the canvas and can be tinted with water-based paint or pastel powder. Easily diluted, it can be adapted to various needs. Once the drawing is complete, freeze it with the Pastel Revolution Freezer.
